Gelcoat weathers. After a few seasons in the sun and the water the hull turns dull, chalky and sometimes yellow. As long as the layer itself is still sound, nothing needs replacing: machine polishing takes the oxidation off and brings the shine back. This is work we usually do on site, in the harbour or at the storage yard.
